Dear ANCDS Board Members,

This email serves as a call for nominations for positions on the 2026 ANCDS Executive Board.  The open positions are:

• President-Elect – 1 position (3-year term)
  The President-Elect shall assist the President and shall perform the duties and responsibilities of the President if the office is vacated.  The elected individual will serve as president-elect, president, and past-president in consecutive years.

• Secretary – 1 position (2-year term)
  In addition to serving as an active member of the Executive Board, the Secretary shall keep a record of the minutes of meetings of the membership and the Executive Board, shall perform the duties ordinarily incident to the office, and shall maintain such other duties and have such other powers as the Executive Board shall from time-to-time designate.

• Member-At-Large – 2 positions (2-year term)
  Members-at-large are active members of the Executive Board, attending monthly meetings and serving as the liaison between the Executive Board and a committee assigned to them by the President.

Please send your nominations to Hetty Clark, Chair, Nominations Committee, at [email protected], by Friday, May 16, 2025.  Self-nominations are encouraged.  In an effort to continue to increase diversity and representation on the ANCDS Executive Board, we encourage nominations of individuals from minoritized and under-represented communities, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+, and individuals from settings outside the United States.

• Office for which the individual is being nominated
• Brief description supporting this nomination

You may, but need not, contact an individual nominee in advance.  If the Nominations Committee selects the individual, a Nominations Committee member will contact them to confirm their interest.
